Level 5 Diploma Curriculum
To achieve the Diploma in Automotive Management you will need to accrue 39 Level 5 credits.
The Level 5 Diploma comprises of:
- Two mandatory units awarding 14 credits
- Two Level 5 optional units totalling 12 credits selected from a choice of four options
- 13 or more credits gained from Level 4 and the remaining Level 5 optional units (Three, four or five units depending on choice of subject)
Managers who hold a Level 4 Certificate in Automotive Management will carry forward 14 credits gained from their Certificate qualification reducing the work required to complete the Certificate.

Unit 1 – Leadership in the Retail Automotive Industry
Unit 2 – Business Planning in the Retail Automotive Industry
Optional Units:
Unit 3 – Developing People in the in the Automotive Retail Operation
Unit 4 – Business Finance in the Automotive Industry
Unit 5 – Marketing the Retail Automotive Business
Unit 6 – Managing Automotive Business Compliance

Assessment
The Diploma qualification is assessed through written assignment, formal presentation, professional discussion and online testing. Each module utilises a unique selection of assessment methods.
