in Automotive Management

About the qualifications

Three
levels of qualification are offered.

  • Award in
    Automotive Management
  • Certificate
    in Automotive Management
  • Diploma in Automotive Management

Each level is
carefully positioned to enable you to choose the most suitable entry point for your
experience and career objectives you want to achieve.

  • The three
    qualification levels are knowledge based Vocationally Recognised Qualifications
    (VRQ) and as such they are designed and developed to be completed in
    conjunction with your work commitments.

Level 3Award in

(9 Credits)
 

 

Level 4 Certificate in
Automotive Management
(26 Credits)
 

 

You may be a career minded
individual aspiring to management,  a
supervisor or manger currently managing a department or a head of business
managing a motor retail operation. The three levels form a progressive qualification route for managers
from all disciplines and departments in the motor industry.

  • Within
    the three levels is the starting point to appropriate to your experience and
    current  status. You can then move up to the next level and qualification when you feel ready to do so.

Prior Learning & Experience
 

 

When
you move on to the next level the portfolio you have previously compiled is credited
to your new level thus reducing the amount of study time and effort required to
achieve the qualification.

How do I Qualify?

  • Each level comprises of a number of units each unit holding a credit
    value, The number of units varies according to the level of qualification you
    choose achieve.
  • Most units in the programmes involve tuition and are assessed via an
    assignment relevant to the subject of the unit plus an on-line test assessment.
    Once your assignment has been accepted and you have achieved the required level
    for the on-line tests you will have successfully completed the unit.

Prior Learning and Experience

For experienced
managers, assessments are available to identify current levels of knowledge in
management practices gained from previous training and industry experience.

Assessment findings may
enable a candidate to reduce the hours of study they need to commit to in order
to be able to successfully complete qualifying assignments and examinations.

The assessments are
suited to experienced managers, however the assessments are open to any
candidate who feels that they may have sufficient experience or training to
benefit from assessment findings.
