Since July 2010 all technicians in the automotive sectors working with refrigerant gases must hold the relevant refrigerant gas-handling certificate that satisfies the UK and EU F-gas Regulations EC842/2006, Annex to Regulation EC307/2008 and EU F-gas legislation 517/2014.
AIT Training Developments offer two ‘F-Gas’ qualification certificates:
The two courses deliver the knowledge and skills required to achieve these Defra approved National qualifications enabling technicians to work correctly and legally when handling MAC or Cargo refrigerant gases.
Each of the two courses comprises of pre-training reading from material provided by AIT Training Developments, followed by a one-day training course which includes the qualification assessments. Certification is awarded by the Institute of the Motor Industry.
The training and qualification assessments are delivered on your premises by an AIT Training Developments qualified trainer and assessor.
